Last week, I stumbled onto the “Shadow Brand” idea—basically:

Pick an underserved community

Use ChatGPT for a brand voice

Fire up Midjourney for visuals

Launch a concept in under 10 minutes

But first some inspiration for the day:

Here’s how it went:

  1. Research (via Perplexity—seriously, it’s 🔥) I landed on r/socialanxiety, a group that could really use a quick “press here to chill” tool. (Full breakdown here.)
  2. Brand Voice (powered by ChatGPT)

Warmly reassuring: “You’re not alone.”

Quietly confident: “We’ve been there; here’s what helped.”

Gently validating: Acknowledge feelings—no shame.

Relatable vulnerability: Imperfections are human.

Low-pressure encouragement: “When you’re ready…” not “Drop everything.”

  1. Visuals (Midjourney magic) Logo, color palette, mockups—done in minutes.
  2. Prototype A simple mobile app that springs to life when anxiety spikes. Guided breathing, calm prompts, and a friendly nudge back to “you got this.”
